Idaho's Nez Perce National Forest Needs Your Clicks

2.12.2009
Some of the greatest wildlife habitat and recreational land in Idaho needs your help. Roadless area and watersheds that support a variety of critical fish and wildlife habitat in central Idaho's Nez Perce National Forest are taking abuse due to off-road vehicles which have damaged meadows, created unauthorized routes and are riding illegally on closed trails within the roadless area.

Politely Urge the National Forest to Restore Balance to Nez Perce

The problem up there is the mindset of almost EVERYONE. Ugh. I grew up in Kendrick and was always in a conflict of whether I enjoyed the physical environment enough to put up with the small minded perspectives of the people. I still miss it. Luckily there's Moscow and I may still move back.
You ever consider moving back to CdA?

Thanks for the comment!

Sad, but true. I have that same internal conflict practically daily. You bet I have considered moving back. I'm actually going to be spending most of this summer up there. Do you get back to visit often? Moscow is a pretty cool town too. I've had some good hikes on Moscow Mountain.
